Qualifying was played on September 19–20, with four players earning places in the main draw. The 32-player women’s singles tournament begins on Monday, September 21, with the final scheduled for Sunday, September 27.

Korea Open 2026 WTA Draw & Bracket
Main Draw
The Korea Open 2026 women’s singles draw features 32 players competing across five rounds.
Unlike the 28-player WTA 500 event being played simultaneously in Singapore, there are no first-round byes in Seoul. All 32 players begin in the opening round and the eventual champion must win five matches.
The main draw contains eight seeds, four qualifiers and four wildcards. The tournament is played on outdoor hard courts at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center.

Among the players appearing on the WTA’s earlier 2026 player list but absent from the final bracket are:

Swiatek recovered from a one-sided first set and eventually won a final lasting more than two and a half hours to capture her 25th career title.

Beatriz Haddad Maia defeated Daria Kasatkina 1-6, 6-4, 6-1
Haddad Maia won the first Korea Open staged at WTA 500 level.
2023
Jessica Pegula defeated Yue Yuan 6-2, 6-3
Pegula won the final in straight sets to claim the Seoul title.
2022
Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated Jelena Ostapenko 7-6(4), 6-0
Alexandrova won the second set without dropping a game after taking a tight opening-set tiebreak.
About the Korea Open
The Korea Open is a WTA 250 tournament played on outdoor hard courts at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center in South Korea.
First staged in 2004, it has become one of the longest-running stops on the Asian Swing. The event was elevated to WTA 500 status for 2024 and 2025 before returning to WTA 250 level in 2026.
The 2026 edition features a 32-player singles draw and 16-team doubles draw, with main-draw play running from September 21–27. The main stadium at the Olympic Park Tennis Center has a capacity of about 10,000 spectators.
The Korea Open will be played at the same time as the Singapore Tennis Open.
