Czechia secured the tie after the two singles matches, meaning the scheduled doubles rubber involving Karolina Muchova and Katerina Siniakova against Jodie Anna Burrage and Harriet Dart was not played.
Czechia became the first country through to the semifinals.

Spain and Kazakhstan split the two singles matches, leaving the tie to be decided by doubles.
Bucsa returned to court alongside Sorribes Tormo and the Spanish pair defeated Danilina and Kulambayeva in straight sets to send Spain into the semifinals.

Anhelina Kalinina / Lyudmyla Kichenok (Ukr) – Magali Kempen / Lara Salden (Bel) 6-3, 6-3
Belgium forced another deciding doubles match after Minnen recovered from losing the opening-set tiebreak to defeat Svitolina in three sets.
Kalinina then returned after her singles victory to partner Kichenok. The Ukrainians won the deciding doubles rubber 6-3, 6-3 and secured the tie 2-1.
Ukraine advanced to face Italy.

Elisabetta Cocciaretto (Ita) – Shuai Zhang (Chn) 0-6, 2-6
Jasmine Paolini (Ita) – Qinwen Zheng (Chn) 6-3, 7-6(4)
Sara Errani / Jasmine Paolini (Ita) – Hanyu Guo / Xinyu Jiang (Chn) 6-3, 5-7, 6-3
China took the opening point when Zhang defeated Cocciaretto in straight sets.
Paolini then levelled the tie by beating Zheng 6-3, 7-6(4), creating a winner-takes-all doubles rubber.
Paolini stayed on court alongside Errani and the Italians came through a three-set decider against Guo and Jiang to complete the 2-1 comeback.
Italy became the final semifinalist and will face Ukraine on September 26.

Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (Esp) – Karolina Muchova (Cze) 5-7, 4-6
Cristina Bucsa (Esp) – Linda Noskova (Cze) 6-7(5), 2-6
Spain reached the semifinals by defeating Kazakhstan 2-1, while Czechia was the only quarterfinalist to clinch its tie without requiring the doubles rubber, defeating Great Britain 2-0.
Czechia swept Spain 2-0 to reach the 2026 Billie Jean King Cup final. Karolina Muchova opened the semifinal with a victory over Jessica Bouzas Maneiro. Linda Noskova then sealed the tie by defeating Cristina Bucsa in straight sets as well.
With both singles matches won in straight sets, Czechia needed no doubles decider.

Both teams required deciding doubles victories in the quarterfinals.
Ukraine defeated Belgium 2-1 after Kalinina and Kichenok won the deciding rubber, while Italy recovered from losing the opening singles match against China before Paolini and Errani clinched the tie in doubles.
Ukraine then cruised into the final, defeating Italy with two straight-sets victories.

Czechia swept Ukraine 2-0 in the 2026 Billie Jean King Cup final to claim the title.
Karolina Muchova opened the tie with a convincing 6-2, 6-3 win over Anhelina Kalinina.
Linda Noskova then sealed the championship by defeating Elina Svitolina 6-3, 7-6(5), completing a straight-sets victory for Czechia.
How Does a Billie Jean King Cup Finals Tie Work?
The knockout ties use a best-of-three-match format.
Two singles rubbers are played first. If one country wins both, the tie is settled 2-0 and the doubles match does not need to be played, as happened when Czechia defeated Great Britain.
If the singles are split 1-1, a doubles rubber decides which country advances.
That happened in each of the other three quarterfinals: Spain beat Kazakhstan in doubles, Ukraine beat Belgium in doubles and Italy beat China in doubles.
